Forskningsgruppe anestesi, intensiv og operasjon (AIO)

Fokuset i forskningsgruppen omhandler forskning knyttet til fagområdene anestesi, intensiv og operasjon. Dette er fagområder som behandler pasienter som enten er akutt og kritisk syke, som har en forverring av kronisk sykdom, eller som gjennomgår kirurgi eller anestesi.

• Hensikten er å studere implementering av manuell aortakompresjon iblant annet Etiopia, Brasil, Madagaskar og Norge, for å redusere maternell mødredødelighet
• Quality in prehospital services; Observations, assessments, triage and interventions in ambulance services and the effect on the trauma patient's outcome. Undersøker håndtering av traumepasienter prehospitalt
• Digitale verktøy innen spesialsykepleie. Gjør kvalitative intervjuer ved akuttmottak, medisinsk overvåkning, operasjon, anestesi, intensive og postoperativ avdeling
• Follow-up of intensive care unit patients after intensive care unit discharge. Hensikten er å bygge opp forskning og studere temaet oppfølging av intensivpasienter
• Symptoms, Vital Signs and Their Effects on Functioning and Quality of Life in Intensive Care Patients. Studerer flere utfallsmål det første året hos pasienter som har vært innlagt på intensivavdelinger
• Survival rates and long-term outcomes for patients with COVID-19 admitted to Norwegian ICUs. Studerer Covid-data fra pasienter på norske intensivavdelinger
• Sykepleie til pasienter på enerom. Formålet er å beskrive hva slags erfaringer sykepleiere på medisinske og kirurgiske døgnområder har med å ivareta pasienter på enerom; av hvordan sykepleietjenesten best kan tilrettelegges for å ivareta pasienter på enerom, og beskrive hvilke erfaringer sykepleiere har med digitale løsninger

• Patient reported symptoms the first week after intensive care unit discharge and up to hospital discharge. Et doktorgradsprosjekt som kartlegger multiple symptomer hos tidligere intensivpasienter på sengepost, samt fysiske, psykiske og kognitive plager dagen de skrives ut
• Ultrasound guided nerve blocks within the thoracolumbar area for better postoperative analgesia. Et doktorgradsprosjekt som sammenlikner tradisjonell smertebehandling versus ulike nerveblokader og effekt på postoperativt forbruk av opiater, smerte og kvalme
• Implementation and evaluation of obstetric shock index and external aortic compression to reduce severe postpartum hemorrhage. Et doktorgradsprosjekt som studerer implementering av obstetrisk sjokk-indeks, samt håndtering av postpartumblødning
• Effectiveness and clinical outcomes of decentralized acute healthcare services versus hospital- a randomized controlled trial. Et doktorgradsprosjekt som studerer kvalitet og effektivitet ved akuttinnleggelse ved kommunale akuttavdelinger versus på sykehus

• Digital intervention to reduce mental health problems in intensive care unit survivors - development, pilot testing, and evaluation of effect. Vil utvikle og teste ut en digital intervensjon for å styrke mental helse
• Assessment of discomfort in intensive care patients and psychometric testing of the applied questionnaire IPREA-N; A cross-sectional-, validation- and feasibility study. Kartlegger ubehag hos intensivpasienter på fem sykehuset i Helse-Sør Øst og validerer en norsk versjon av kartleggingsverktøyet
• Vold og trusler mot helsepersonell i somatikk. Innmeldte avviksmeldinger over en periode på 18 måneder analyseres for å kartlegge hva slags vold og trusler helsepersonell i somatikken blir utsatt for
• Kontiki; AI basert beslutningstøtte for pasienter og helsetjenesten. I dette prosjektet skal det utvikles systemer for beslutningsstøtte basert på kunstig intelligens (AI) som skal hjelpe helsevesenet å ta bedre beslutninger, for å forbedre livskvalitet og forlenge levetid til pasientene, og samtidig effektivisere ressursbruken i helsevesenet
• Mer Hjemmedialyse for Helse, Livskvalitet og Kostnadskontroll. Et svensk-dansk-norsk prosjekt skal teste og utvikle produkter, tjenester og modeller for å øke hjemmedialyse
• Forskningsprosjektet RespView. Dette prosjektet skal utvikle et produkt som muliggjør kontaktløs, kontinuerlig og automatisk måling av pusteaktivitet fra et punkt i taket
